The IR cut filter is on when the camera is operating as a color camera for precise color reproduction. And the filter is off for increasing light sensitivity in monochrome mode.
         So there will be no color deflection in daytime or under the halogen lamp. And more light come into the CCD to enhance sensitivity at night.
